EveryParampara

How complete is EveryParampara?

Nobody has a full list of the world's traditions. Many have never been written down, and every village has its own. So EveryParampara shows its working.

Where the list comes from

Every item that Wikidata classes as a tradition, festival, public holiday, religious festival, ritual, wedding custom, rite of passage, folk dance, folk costume, ceremony or custom, and that has an English Wikipedia article; every article under Wikipedia's categories for festivals, wedding customs, cultural traditions and cuisine by country; and our own list of well-known traditions, balanced across countries so no country crowds out the rest.
