When is Valentine's Day in 2027?

Valentine's Day 2027 is on Sunday, 14 February 2027. Other years: 2026, Saturday, 14 February 2026; 2028, Monday, 14 February 2028.

About Valentine's Day

Valentine's Day, on 14 February, takes its name from one or more early Christian saints called Valentine, and acquired its association with romantic love from the poetry of Geoffrey Chaucer and the court culture of the late Middle Ages. People send cards, often anonymous, give flowers, especially red roses, chocolates and dine out. In Japan and South Korea, it is women who give chocolates to men, with "giri-choco" for colleagues, and men return the favour on White Day on 14 March. In Italy, couples visit Verona, the city of Romeo and Juliet. In Finland and Estonia, the day is Friend's Day, and in Wales, Saint Dwynwen's Day on 25 January is a traditional day of lovers. In the Philippines, mass weddings are held.
