Traditions of Moroni

The capital of Comoros, the Perfume Islands, with the grand marriage, the Grand Mariage, as its lifetime social event.

Moroni lies on Grande Comore, in the Comoros archipelago between Africa and Madagascar. The islanders are Muslim, with Swahili, Arab, Malagasy and African influences.
